Champ188 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 You guys sling those Warts all you want. Got my own medicine for those muddy-water bank dwellers. May or may not have blades on it.
bluebasser86 Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Chatterbait is a hidden secret as well. You use the same colors as with spinnerbaits? I'm headed down in a couple weeks, might have to tie a couple of my favorite Table Rock colors on some of my bladed jigs.
Sprint21fter Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Yes, depends on water color. Natural colors in green/clear water. Dirty water chartrueuse/white black/blue.
Members stumpy Posted March 24, 2014 Members Posted March 24, 2014 Got into some white bass yesterday aftrnoon. Went upstream on the Kings almost to 86 bridge to get clearer water. It wasn't a great run, but in 2.5 hours of trolling,we caught a number of good keeper whites. Still some debris on the lake, but not too hard to avoid. Water temp was about 55 degrees. Talked to a few crappie fishermen and they werent having much luck. One guy said he went all the way across the AR state line (From Sweewater) and didnt catch any crappie, but had a couple of whites. My ten year old is hooked, and ready to quit school so we could fish through the week.....
