eyedabassman Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I am tore between the Tournament Mg and the Tournament Pro? Are these two reels almost alike? Because the Pro is about $ 50 bucks more, just not sure if it is worth the extra $$$$.?
Members longviewbasser Posted March 16, 2014 Members Posted March 16, 2014 For the money u want go wrong either is good i love less they are awesome
Members Jugsandplugs Posted March 16, 2014 Members Posted March 16, 2014 I have only used the pro and love it. I have three of them and won't trade them for any other brand of reel. Look at the weight of both reels that is what gets me about the pro is how light it is. If the weight is the same I would say you could go with either one and you will be happy.

96 CHAMP Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I put the pro speed spool on a falcon 6'6 signature rod for jerkbait fishing and it is a awesome reel, lucky i got it on sale for 149
Champ188 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Have several of the pros and love them. Where reels are concerned, you usually come out ahead spending a bit more money when choosing between two models. The bigger the price, the smoother the reel.
96 CHAMP Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I used the lews up on the white river saturday afternoon, never did much fishing up on the white, a friend of mine years back took me up there a few times so i was determined to explore new water saturday, once i found the right bank i caught 2 keeps 17&18" and caught 8 non keeps on a spro jerkbait caught a couple other small ones at other spots as i was heading back , the lews reel is a great reel and worth the money, aint nothing like jerkbait fishing!!
Champ188 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Gotta agree with ya there, CHAMP. Love to feel that "tick" when they bite it.
