Turnover

Put in at Millcreek this evening. Water clarity was only 2 feet. Nasty water. She has tuned over in that area. Anyone found it anywhere else? Want to stay away from the stinky water.

Not sure if it is turnover or an ugly algae bloom, but it has been in the works for a good week. It is spotty at best, but the fish do not seem to care. Caught many in it yesterday.

It seems to be from Viney downstream. It has no subsistence, but you can see it on the graph, it is just wisps of a brown turnover in color algie. I too have had no trouble catching fish in and around it.

Spring turnover never seems to bother me much, but the fall turnover really can screw things up for a couple weeks. Spring Algae bloom seems to be more of an issue though.

All the water from one mile above Big M to point 23 is that brown color, but the fish are liking it.

Ok. Friday night clarity at Millcreek was 15'. Last night it was 2' at best. Seemed sudden. I ran out of it. Thanks. And yes night tournaments have started. Will post results later.

Now, I have been in creeks that were mostly clear with a bit of the brown. In those places the clear has been better. Where it is all brown all is well.
