went to pla-port this week and had a blast, caught tons of fish as they were on everywhere and practically on every bank i went to, took me a little while to get things figure out,started wednesday with a f-13 in the morning and a fluke and a shakey head, did well then got things going the way i wanted and was waiting for that low pressure system that was coming thursday and friday,with the clouds and storms, that is when i pulled out old faithfull, f-13 an caught fish all day long on top water thursday and into friday. about a hour or 2 before the storm hit thursday they literally went nuts, there is no better way in my opinion than catching them on top, during blue bird days i stuck with the shakey head and they were flat out tearing the worms off of it. in the early morning used the f-13 and redfin and seen some big fish, it is amazing how close they come to that f-13 and either just kiss it or just sit there and watch it.biggest was 3-7 caught at 10:00 pm friday night on a shakey head. good luck to all and thanks for all the reviews

I just cast up toward the bank and very slightly try to twitch it in place and watch and see what the fish want, most of the nice fish seem to make a small boil under or at it, some you can watch as they will rise under it to smack it and then some just sit there and look at it and yes it was a great trip. ya it does look like a mess with the hooks in the net but actually it looks worse than it was
