Evidently riding like that on a boat is illegal. Falling off a boat would be the reason they made it illegal. Someone fell in and someone died. No wonder why it's illegal...

I really don't know better. Just not something I have experience with.

Seems like a pretty bad idea to ride on the gunwale when the boat is traveling at a pretty fast clip, especially if the water is choppy -- like can be expected on a big latrine like LOZ. I guess there's common sense, and there's the law. Regardless, the cattle prod is a pretty good idea -- maybe Water Patrol needs them to keep the riffraff in check.
