Pour Dennis Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Recently in Shell Knob, my neighbor had the hinge on the back deck of his Ranger damaged when 2 scumbags tried to steal his batteries. So, beware of your batteries too.
Quillback Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I've heard that about batteries also, sons of guns will steal anything.
Members Kylekcmo Posted June 12, 2014 Members Posted June 12, 2014 Had my fish cleaning table stolen over the winter. I leave all my stuff on my boat over the summer. I really hope someone doesn't steal all my stuff...
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 yep had a buddy get the batteries stolen from his boat, but at least the low-life jack wagon's were classy enough to unhook the battery cables instead of just cutting them.

That's why mine is parked in my garage, they have to break in to get to it which that is a possibly. A thief is a thief when it comes down too it. They are looking for a free ride on the backs of honest people and those numbers are growing every day.

The government does that part for them. All they have to do is fill out some paperwork and bam, they'll mail our hard-earned money right to 'em.

So they go thieving.

Members Gregg Posted June 17, 2014 Members Posted June 17, 2014 It has been about 15 years now, but I left my boat in at the dock ONE night. I took everything out except a couple of old cruddy spinning rigs. Of course that night thieves struck and took them! They also took a in dash factory cd player. My dads runabout was in the same dock and they got his cd player too! Made a report to the water patrol on both. It was probably 6 months later I got a call that they had caught a band that was steeling from boats at TR. They recovered some items and wanted me to come down to Kimberling and see if any of it was mine. I did go and they had a huge room with all kinds of stuff in it they had recovered! Of course mine or dads was not with it. 2 years later both my dad and I got a check in the mail from the water patrol, it was restitution from the guys they busted!!!!! Still makes me smile thinking how long they would be paying off their debt!!! They were steeling items then transporting them in trucks to KC to sell them.
