What about winning silver and bronze medals in the Olympics? How about fishing tournaments where you still WIN money for getting well below 1st place? Do those not count? There are probably a bunch of others I'm not mentioning.

Anyways, they advanced to the next round. That's not really "winning" to me.

Yes they are pretty good.

From what I can tell we play pretty similarly. Decent defense (though ours hasn't shown up that big yet) with a good goalie.

They will destroy us I am afraid. I picked them to be in the top 4 this year. Of course I thought the score line on this game wouldn't be as close either. Impossible - no, but unlikely we will get past them.

Belgium is ranked 11th and the US is ranked 13th in the world. But that really doesn't mean anything because Spain is ranked 1st and they are back home now. Belgium had a pretty easy grouping having to play Russia, Algeria, and later today South Korea. Not real quality teams there...
