Nice haul Rainbow. We are getting many tomatoes now. Ness if it makes you feel any better we are getting the yellow crud on a few plants now. If there is any good to it the fruit is large and even if the plant dies we will get the tomatoes on them.

Peering into the yum-yum peppers I spied this tree or should I say pepper frog?

Then we went to the unruly blackberry patch and picked.

On another note the Mrs. made a blackberry crisp a couple of nights ago. I've had many cherry, apple pear and peach ones but this was a first with blackberries. A very tasty result,

I did not go to the garden yesterday - should have - the cut worms ate the tops off the Big Boys. I hate to use chemicals but sometimes you need them.

Nice haul Billet. This is a pretty good year for gardens. So far our maters have not had any issues but the squash bugs are out big time. Have had to use sevin dust to keep them down or we will lost a huge squash crop.

Couple of questions. Why are my red bell peppers still green? Anyone know of where to get a decent but inexpensive canning pressure cooker? Wife's birthday is Sunday.

You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.

Ours usually turn red in September when they ripen. We pick them green in the meantime. Check some of the big box stores for pressure cookers. I know they make some fancy ones these days.

I don't know thar inexpensive and pressure cooker should be used in the same sentence. Our Presto is about 30 years old and I can still buy all the parts.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

1pound 12 ounces. There are bigger ones still in the garden.
