Old plug Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Only pictures I tske of fish got to friends anymore. I take all my pics by laying the fish on a 4&" alum measuring stick. That t way there is no estimate needed. But Still just my way.
LittleRedFisherman Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 yeah, been nice if it had been weighed.. I"d be willing to bet on it being closer to 5 pounds! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
ColdWaterFshr Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Its a nice fish for sure. But even the second picture, arms extended . . . you just can't tell if this is really a 19 inch fish, or a 22. And there is a big difference. Tape measures don't lie. Photos can be deceptive. I will see if I can post up a picture of my nephew with what looks like a huge bass from TR State park marina a couple weekends ago.
ColdWaterFshr Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 its as long as his entire torso and half way up his head. 36 inches??
Old plug Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I consider a 5 lb bass in loz 21" and a few fatty bodies 20 inches
moguy1973 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Same with this fish I caught and purposely held close to the screen. Looks huge, but it was like 16" and 2.5lbs. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Old plug Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 When the hands are not in proportion to the head that is a dead give away. I look at that picture and the first thpugh I had was this guy would destroy his nose if he ever tried picking a booger.
Coosa Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I caught a 21.5 a couple weeks ago and it only wieghted 4.3 lbs
