duckydoty Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 For Sockeyes we use 8 weight fly rods. Rainbows are fly rods and spinning gear. Kings are bait casters and fly rods. Kings are open in Southwest Alaska. They are expecting a record run on the Nush this year. Caught a limit of large kings on the Naknek then went out and got a limit of sockeye today. Quillback Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Couple of nice kings - those things are bulldog fighters.
duckydoty Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 An hour and a half, 10 guests limited out on sockeye salmon this morning on the Naknek River. Then we went to the Nush and caught kings. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
duckydoty Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Change over day today. Waiting for new guests to arrive then taking them by float plane over to the Nush to fish for kings. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
