dtrs5kprs Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Will say a prayer for all involved. Does not sound like a good situation. Just across the lake from where I am safe and comfortable with my family. Never take anything for granted.
Pepe Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 We can only hope he got separated and is ok on shore somewhere. We will keep the diver, his family and friends in our prayers.
abkeenan Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Hate to hear this as it doesn't sound good. Hope he is okay.
Old plug Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I cannot find anything have they ever said they found him.
dtrs5kprs Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I cannot find anything have they ever said they found him. Not as far as I know. We saw more EMT boats heading in while we were going to Ma's this morning. Last we knew from KY was it was the wife from a husband and wife pair that went missing. Tragic situation.
Old plug Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I found something saying they presumed he drowned in 180 ft of water have they ever failed to recover a body.??? This drowning here was if I recall around 90 ft and it took them 11/2 days with sounding devises in two boats to find him.
fishinwrench Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 They still haven't found the girl that jumped from the toll bridge here. What's that been, 2 months?
huntest Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Not sure how much current is created when they run the generators at the dam but that could make locating and recovery even more difficult in deep water. Any current over 2 knots and greater presents diving challenges.
