Every Body Quit Fishing?

Where did every body go? There hasn't been a new report here for weeks. It too hot? I'm too broke to go till the price of gas comes down. Good luck every one.

Been out a 3 times, over the last two weeks, down by Bee Creek and mouth of Mincy Creek. Caught lots of short bass and a 17.9999 " walleye, LoL, just couldn't him to hit the 18" mark so he went back of course. Bass were all caught on Chompers jigs with crawdad trailer and crankbaits. 2nd trip 3 days later caught just about all keeper largemouth & spots in the same spots I worked the trip before. 3rd trip a few days ago nothing but shorts again -- lots of good sized bluegill on crankbaits too for the frying pan. Nephew was with me two trips so he didn't mind the bluegills at all. We did catch a lot of short smallmouth along the rocks across from Bee Creek island on all three trips.

Heey lonkm, noticed you are from taneyville. Deer hunted hercules for years with my bros. LOVE that country and could not wait to go each year. Was like hunting the way it should be. Camped for8 to 10 days,cooked over camp fire,lots of blckberry brandy around campfire,even fell in campfire. GREAT FUN.... Deer hunting was fun, saw VERY few people in the woods. Just a few locals on horseback. Some very nice, some not so nice. Awesome country along with lots of memories of great deer hunting. Article on Schoolcraft coming through there. good stuff...

Oh Heck Man, I'm NOT done fishing for 3 months! I do my best to fish every week. I'm done with BSL. TR, and Norfork unti the lakes cool in the fall and the fish respond to that.

I'm done fishing Bull Shoals until I can come up with a new strategy or two. My stuff (trolling cranks, bottom bouncing, jig/crawler) has not been working. The usual depths/locations that I fish are NOT loaded with show on sonar like they have been in the past. I fear there are changes underway. Possible factors:

Hard winter

Late spring

Cool summer (water temps are lagging)

Winter shad kill (shouldn't that make fishing better?)

Zebra mussels (there are tons of 'em down there)

Stuff I haven't thought of yet

As the old walleye fisherman said, "They don't have wings and they ain't got shovels. They're out there somewhere." Anybody got any ideas?

There's Zebra mussels in Bull? I did not know that.

Yes Sir Jeff there are. And from friends that dive, they are increasing rapidly.
