Bill Babler Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Check out my comments on the Be Careful After Dark Fishing thread. State Patrol is working around the clock on Table Rock lake theft. We as dock owners need to be the cure instead of the problem that we are now. Theft is happening even during the day right now, so for gosh sakes do not leave anything on that dock they you are not within 10 ft. of. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Members gatorbitu Posted July 8, 2014 Members Posted July 8, 2014 It's a shame that people that spend their hard earned money for something they enjoy have to defeat the purpose of why they bought a dock in the first place because worthless trash are too lazy to work and buy it for themselves. The Gov. Should make it a law to shoot to kill thief on site...everybody wins, dead thief and no lock up charge or trial cost for law abiding citizens. Remove trash from this earth.....

Sounds like a solution, but with my luck I would shoot the neighbors brother-in-law who had permission to borrow his stuff and was just picking it up. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

My luck too.... Just a shame this stuff is so rampant that it is worth the risk for a thief to feel comfortable enough to do it in the view of everyone in daylight.

Gat, a huge problem is the price of the things we have now and how easy it is to sell just about anything. One of these crooks pops just one dock locker box and gets two skies a wake board a tool box a battery charger and 5 gallons of oil and he has just made what I make in a month, for under 10 minutes of skullduggery. Really probably more. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Really probably more. That is probably dead on true...Don't know what the solution is. If they do get caught, they do very little time do to overcrowding in the prison systems. These people have no moral code so any punishment they receive, does little good. Maybe we need laws of Mid East and chop hands off the thieves. Sitting in jail for a few months does nothing to stop them...they will always be too lazy to earn a living and more than willing to steal from those who do.
Flysmallie Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 The solution is pretty easy. Don't leave your high priced items on the dock. And secure what you can't move. Once the source dries up they will go someplace else.
