bs1827 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Love learning! I agree! I look forward to these in depth discussions on here. Thanks for all of the info Chief and Al!!!
Members ALLSTAR1 Posted January 26, 2015 Members Posted January 26, 2015 I moved to Farmington from Cuba MO in 1973 and there was a public fishing lake west of the Hiway 67 that we caught some Warmouth in. I thought they were Goggle eyes like we had caught in the Meremac but a knowledgeable fisherman pointed out the difference. Later I caught one at Duck Creek. Seems I remember they had some blue color mixed in.
drew03cmc Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 It also seemed to validate what we both have been saying about stocking. It specifically pointed to stocking in your area and named numerous times the Black, St. Francis and another stream as having integrates. But it was never mentioned for anywhere else. The part about the State using the Ozark as brood stock was a surprise. I wish it would have listed when, where and for how long this project lasted. Did you notice that they seemed to call the Shadows of SWMO Neosho's? Not right out but always the Neosho basin and such. Care to forward this data Chief? I'd appreciate it. Andy
