Nope. Heck, I hardly need bait casting anymore. It seems like all I throw is Ned Rig for warm water fish and Zig Jigs for cold water fish. Lol

Looks sweet! Fish it a bunch and report back. Have a G series curado it's been trouble free. Love the casting reels, wish they could make a trouble free spin reel.

Have Two G Serious, I LovedHowThey Casted But The Line Guide Messed Up On One After A Year, It Wa The One I Used The most.....The New Centrifugal Brake On These Are Sweet...4 Brakes To Set Plus A Dial..Can Sail A Weightless Senko!

I quit the Curados after the E series. Until then, they were my keystone. I am sure they eventually fixed the problems that plagued the E series.

I think I like new braking system too. I've got it on a couple of the new metaniums and got along with it really well. I wasn't throwing anything light but it seemed to cast far needing little thumbing.

Update...used my curado on a few all day fishing trips to the river in the past couple weeks, still love it, very smooth operation!

There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!

I have never had a problem with any of my 50E's.....I love them so much I still have a brand new one in a box.....like a nice bottle of Caymus just sitting there waiting for me.....i just love those little bastards
