rps Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Old story: A man walks over the bridge and looks down. He sees a boy fishing in the stream. He leans over the rail and asks the boy how they are biting. The boy turns and smiles up, "They're biting great!" "Really?" the man says skeptically. "Oh yeah. I've caught a whole mason jar full. Want to see?" Sadly this describes my day. I caught walleye. Five actually. Not a keeper in the group, although one was semi-close. I hope it was me and not the lake turning into an unladylike witch.
Fish24/7 Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 hey at least you caught some, 96 degrees, sunny, not too windy, not exactly a walleye day, so don't "sweat" it ,lol
Quillback Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 It was slow for me today also, not much wind and it got hot fast.
Feathers and Fins Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Well at least you didn't post pictures of walleye released lol... Hey bad days happen to us all, suppose to cool down a bit that might help. You tried where I told you on Beaver yet? https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
rps Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 You are going to make me pull my boat out of the water and trailer over to fish I lake I have not fished since 1978? Yeah, I may have to do that.
Feathers and Fins Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Well I did give you a present lol https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

Champ188 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 " ... to fish I lake I have not fished since 1978?" You don't know how badly I wish I could say that. The convenience factor keeps reeling me in.
Feathers and Fins Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 17+ to win Hickory last night. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Champ188 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Hot weather can't hurt, especially those river fish. Put them down on the ledges and brushpiles where you can target them easier.
