Looks like Ike pulled it out with a big lead. Less than 12lbs a day! That almost hard to imagine at that level. I'm not a fan of Ike at all but good for him. He can flat fish and does well in tough conditions.

Personally I was pulling for Christie knowing he's a river guy.

Yep, not a big Ike fan myself, but he pulled it off. I was hoping Mark Davis would do better, as far as AOY points, but he had a bad tournament.

That guy is in full rock'n'roll mode this year. Good for him. He's proven to be extremely diverse.

KVD proves to be mortal too. Only one fish in two days that weighed 1-9. Crazy when he can't catch them.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

I like Ike but I can also see why he rubs most the wrong way. My dad absolutely hates the guy.

He did well but he should have since he was on the water that he grew up fishing.

I'm not an Ike fan myself, but there's lots of folks that like him.

And you would expect him to do well on his home water, but every tourney has someone who is local, and sometimes they don't do well. One example that comes to mind is Swindle in this year's Classic.

Yeah tough one for KVD. He needs a good tourney on Cayuga to make next year's Classic.

Wouldn't this be the first time in over 20 something years?

Don't know for sure, but that sounds about right. Seems to be a given every year that KVD will be in the Classic.
