laker67 Posted August 2, 2014 Author Posted August 2, 2014 I used to hunt with Dennis. I will see if I can get in contact with him. Haven't heard from him in years. Thanks cnr, that would be most helpful.
Al Agnew Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Stamps are no longer produced. You just buy the trout permit and it's printed in the list of things you've purchased on your permit. The way you used to do it, you bought the stamp and affixed it to your license. I'm not sure what year the last stamp was produced.
laker67 Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Bring back the stamps, MDC!!! I agree cwf, loved those stamps. You were getting a piece of art work unlike now, just a printed message.
Members Corky 69 Posted August 3, 2014 Members Posted August 3, 2014 I believe that the last trout stamp was 1995. The 1985 trout stamp is actually a 1984 print .
Mitch f Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I used to have a nice collection of Duck stamps! "Gee Norm, that's Terrif" "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
10pointer Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Ill have to check when I get home but I have several sets... I will have to check the years. I have some framed and displayed and others ready to be displayed just never got around to it yet I surely do miss them also. Now like you all have said you get the text printed with your additional permits I agree bring back the stamps!!! I for one would contribute extra $ just to have the stamp!
Members Corky 69 Posted August 12, 2014 Members Posted August 12, 2014 Don't have the print or stamp for 1985, but if you turn 60, you can buy life time fishing and trout stamp for 35.00 in which you only need a fishing license until your 65 but the stamp is still good for a life time!
laker67 Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Update in the search for the 85 trout stamp. Located. A gentleman from around lebanon now has the complete set of prints and stamps. He will, at a later date, put them on display for the public to enjoy. A fascinating set of missouri heritage. I will keep you updated.
Members Corky Posted February 11, 2015 Members Posted February 11, 2015 Good to hear that somebody took the time and effort and expense to put the set together . Keep us posted on time and place. Appreciate the update.
