Quillback Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Ugh - Tough blow, hard to see the Lambs getting beyond 8-8 with Shaun Hill at QB.
Jerry Rapp Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 heck, he has made 65 million dollars. He will be on the PGA tour in 5 years. The Lambs got screwed again.
Justin Spencer Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Today before I heard the news I had dubbed the rams as my team after quitting on the Chiefs (following last years playoff collapse) after 30 + years of mostly hearbreak. Sorry Rams, looks like the curse follows me. Now the Broncos are my team! rps Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I do not "do" pro ball. The variables include corporate money, television markets, and rules designed to entice gladiator viewers. Really, sometime after George Blanda, after Green Bay on frozen ground, and after Rocky Bleier, I got bored. Still, I hate to see injury make or break a season, especially when a good Sooner is the victim. I hope his knee is fine, at least for real life. Boomer, Sooner!
Ham Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 That's a bad deal for Sam and the Rams. I hate it for all involved. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
moguy1973 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 After missing this year, out of a total possible 96 regular season game in Sam's contract he will have missed 31 games. One game shy of two full seasons. What a shame for the Rams. I guess they knew his injury liability when they drafted him though. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Ham Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I have to imagine that the Rams will move on and look in a different direction at QB. They may decide to pick up someone from another team (R.Mallet) or a talented rookie that couldn't beat out an established backup. Sucks though. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Quillback Posted August 25, 2014 Author Posted August 25, 2014 Mallet would be interesting, if I was running the Rams I'd gamble on someone like him rather than going with Shaun Hill. Might as well see if you can find the QB of the future, because Hill probably is not the one.
Ham Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I'd want Mettenberger if TN bumps their head and decides to make someone else the backup QB. He needs to improve in the pocket (less fumbles and less sacks), but has a big time arm. Good team player. . Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
