2sheds Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 This summer I had the wonderful opportunity to fish 6 of the MDC Wild Trout areas. Photos are posted below. Clues: Photos are organized in a logical order. One location has 2 photos. One location is not actually a Wild Trout area, included for purposes of “color contrast”.
Geoff Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Looks like fun, some nice areas, would like to see some of them them. But 1. Blue Springs at Highway N 2. Not sure, looks gorgeous though, want to go there 3. Little Piney At Highway 63 4. Nope. 5. No idea, but i want to see that 6. Mill Creek, guessing by otter and the rock 7. Crane? Only trout area I know with a bridge, but never been there 8. No idea. "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."

ollie Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I can only tell 2 things from your pictures. One of them I know is Crane and the second thing is you like different beer! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Members bioteacher Posted September 3, 2014 Members Posted September 3, 2014 That Highplains fly fisher has it pegged.
ozark trout fisher Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Some amazing pics there. I've been doing most of my trout fishing on the Current lately but I still love those little creeks. Need to get back into that kind of fishing this fall.
Johnsfolly Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 1) Blue Springs 2) Barren fork creek 3) Little Piney 4) Little Piney 5) Mill Creek 6) Spring creek 7) Crane Creek Great pictures. I don't have any photos from my trips to Blue Springs or Little Piney. I haven't had my "wife's" waterproof digital camera on those trips. From my own posts, you can see that I also like to capture my trips with photos. Here is a location photo and the trout that I caught from that location at another MDC designated trout stream that I believe would fit between photos 5 and 6.
