This last week I loaded up the truck and Joe and I headed up the Driftless area for several days of relaxation and fishing. I make this trip every year and it has become one of my favorite places to spend some time on the water. We hit things just right this year and the weather was fantastic! The crowds were non-existent as always and the fish cooperated enough to keep a smile on my face most of the day. No big fish...just small bows , browns and brookies in some of the most beautiful creeks in the midwest.

Needless to say we had a great time!

Full TR on my blog for anyone interested...

Nice write up. I saw some familiar places in those pics.

Looks like a great trip-a whole lot better than those combat fishing trips we have made to Wisconsin for the fall salmon run.Reminds me of some of the small streams we fished for warmwater species as kids. Thanks for the show!

You always have something neat to share with us all. Thanks for letting us make the trip with you two. One place I hope to visit,
