Flysmallie
It's kinda funny Ronnie, but when I was a kid a buddy of mine was reading a book about POWs making an alcoholic concoction from raisins and water. So, we gave it a try and made a few batches but were never able to attain the quality we aspired to. So we drank his dad's jug wine on the garage instead. Interesting. I was a good kid that never caused any problems like that.
fishinwrench
I can't get that excited about pizza, but when all you bread enthusiasts start whipping up some world class biscuits and gravy I wanna be there.

I don't know. That pizza has really sparked my interest. Not enough to go through all of this, but I would really like to taste one wood fired. ness
Took the starter out of the fridge last night, fed it a cup of flour and 1/2 cup water. By this morning it had overflowed the quart jar. John

Chief Grey Bear
Do you go there very often? That's an idea!! Ohhhhh Ness??? I was thinking today about buying a loaf of SD bread and making pizza bread. Won't be anywhere close to being the same but thought it sounded good none the less. bfishn
My first visit was just a couple weeks ago, but I'll definitely be back. That and Undercliffs up at Tipton are topping my current 'where to eat' list. I like sourdough bread, but never had any that would rank it way above the other good breads. On the other hand, sourdough pancakes are miles above any other 'cakes. +++ I can't dance like I used to.
