mic Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Thanks to Smalliebigs and Gavin I've been enjoying bass fishing more and more and haven't been trout fishing lately. However, I think it is time to get back to my roots and catch some of those monster BSC five inchers. So for your Bourbon locals, how is the creek doing (in general terms)? I haven't been in more then a year. I was going to come down this weekend, but didn't want to drive two hours to find it blown out. Home alone with the daughter next weekend, so it will be awhile before I can get down. Send me a PM if there are any new holes I should look for.
Members Fly guy Posted October 14, 2014 Members Posted October 14, 2014 I was also thinking about hitting up bsc this weekend. any news on it being blown out or not?
Gavin Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 It usually fishes well when the Middle Meramec is flooded. Should be good right now.
joeD Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 No, it shouldn't. And you guys have no right to give information on a public stream, especially one so small and fragile. What is this anyway? Some public forum or such?

What is this anyway? Some public forum or such? I don't understand why you seem so upset by some one saying if the creek is blown out or not. I have fished this Creek a lot but it is a bit of a drive for me and as someone had asked the question of if the creek was blown out, I was wondering the same so I posted as much so I don't waste time driving to a blown out Creek on my only day off. I know and understand that this is a small and fragile fishery and have never and would never keep our harm a fish from this area so relax man.

I think JoeD's post done tongue in cheek, following the lead like a million other posts that have been put up on here about the small trout creeks in MO.

Daryk Campbell Sr Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Yea, he is just making a joke. Not directed at you. Some people on here have a problem with info being shared on the area that they want kept secret. Kinda defeats the purpose of a public forum, hence his reply. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. mic Posted October 15, 2014 Author Posted October 15, 2014 Thanks all. I'm going to try to get down there this weekend, but not looking good right now. Should be a great day for it.
