Quillback
Forecast called for clouds and a bit of rain and that's what it was. I though the clouds might make things good for the buzz bait, but only caught one early on it. Caught some fish on the 1/2 oz FB jig, and ran across a school surface feeding off a point and caught some on the Yozuri pencil popper on top. Caught a double on it, big fish being a 17" Mean. Caught 15 bass total, spots, a Mean, and a couple of 12" smallies. Not one Large Mouth. Fish were scattered and hard to pattern. Caught some on a gravel point, a few in cuts in bluff walls, a couple off deep trees, and some off a dock. But you could catch some off a gravel point for example and then fish another several points and not get a bite. Had a few chase the jig back to the boat, including one pretty good sized bass. Might have been worth a shot to swim a jig or try some cranks. Maybe next time. Water temp 67.

Champ188
Not saying you had a bad day and that's sure a pretty meanmouth. But you'd think it woulda been better. Hope we don't have another fall/winter of hopelessly suspended fish just swimming around in the abyss with too many shad.
Pepe
Thanks for the report, QB. Always fun when they get aggressive on top

Last winter and this years spring jerk bait bite was REALLY disappointing as I look forward to "McStickin'" all year. Hope that doesn't happen again. Could be other folks out on the lake did well doing something different than I was.

Sore Thumbs
Pete puts a post on Youtube almost every week. Just type in Table Rock fishing and select "This week" and his latest report will be there. His little dog always tries to steal the spot light. Great videos though. Thanks Pete. fishingaddiction
Nice double on the TW Quill! You had a good day. I agree with the other posts, let's hope the stick bait bite and late fall/winter fishing is good up shallow. I grow weary of trying to hunt them down in the deep water. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
