Took my son and another boy to the Fall Classic at Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend. The fishing was just bad. In two days caught probably 10 fish. Just happened to catch two good ones on tournament day that weighted seven and half pounds. Good enough for 5th place and a nice scholarship for each of the boys. Even with fishing so bad, those two were hooked for life when they heard their names called. Just wanted pass on the info as a proud dad.

Thanks for supporting the boys (and girls) and being what a dad should be. We need young anglers who learn the ropes from guys like you.

Thanks for sharing. Still waiting on my girls to approach me about fishing. I want it to be their idea. I think the will enjoy it more that way.

They're waiting on you to learn how to catch something first. :XD: (Sorry bud, the door was open.)

We'll have to find them a bunch of those big ol' Bella Vista bream bedded up next spring. Then they can have a blast catching them and take dinner home, too.

Sounds awesome, has to be good to know that the young men may take to fishing.

What was water temp and clarity where you were on LOZ. I am going down on the 14th of November and am wondering what is happening with turnover. I'll be around the 7mm.

Well don't know where 7mm is, water temp was around 67 from the Glaize to 6 miles up the Osage. Turning over in some parts, crystal clear down by the dam, so I was told. Probably 3ft visibility in the area we fished.
