5bites Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 I've wondered about dropping mine down to get video of cover etc. what I wonder is how deep can we go in what we call clear water around hear before you can't see anything.
Bittle Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 In the dam area of the lake I had mine to 115 feet diving. On the river arms who knows I haven't tried. But it wouldn't hurt to try it and find out.
Gavin Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Go pro is for for skate boarders. Heck I gave up Un memorable photos years ago. Who needs more? I'm sure it's a fun gizmo to play with if you have time. Might be fun to strap one to my Border Collies head & see what she sees while running like a cheetah in 4x4. Sure it's nice but no time for it. Drone vid of a fly fishing trip would be neat. Two ideas, go for it.
5bites Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 Go pro is for for skate boarders. And fishermen too apparently. Three pages of fishermen talking about gopros.
Members Beaverdamstore Posted December 15, 2014 Members Posted December 15, 2014 LOL, Gavin. It is a surfer not skate boarder who designed it. Coolest thing about them I think is it is light weight makes it easy to wear and get great point of view pics, and they take amazing quality video. Jim
Lvn2Fish Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 We shot this video in September at Lake Of The Ozarks. You can do some really special things with them. Ended up having a good day on a swim jig. The only issue I have with the hero2 is the battery life. It will last about 3 hours for me. Hopefully they have addressed this on the Hero3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1dHY_mjp-M
5bites Posted December 19, 2014 Author Posted December 19, 2014 Hero3 is old news man. Lol jk I run a 3. I'd like a 4 eventually though. Anyway you can get a bacpac battery.
