Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 14, 2014 Root Admin Posted November 14, 2014 I'm not a bass fisherman... this looks different. http://www.in-fisherman.com/bass/z-man-fishing-products-batwingz/
Champ188 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Good article, Phil. Thanks for the share. Love the meat-and-potatoes style of In Fisherman articles. Lots of info, easy to digest.
Members riverhyker Posted November 15, 2014 Members Posted November 15, 2014 Phil here is a video that I came across a week or so ago....Haven't tried it yet myself...
5bites Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 I've always wanted to try paca chunks on a shakyhead. My son has but I've never done the home work. The batwingz are interesting though if the action is paca craw good. If anything for the durability.
Ham Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 I imagine that would be a great little deal to hop quickly along on points for smallies in the Spring. I used to beloeve that the steady movement as you drug that grub along triggered strikes from smallies. I caught so many fish dead sticking a Nednthat I don't know what to believe anymore. I'll probably end up with a few packs of the smaller ones, but the ShadZ have not caught a thing for me up to this point. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. dtrs5kprs Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Don thumped them pretty well with the batwingz. Little bigger than the tiny paca chunk I use on the Ned. Should be excellent on a jig as well. Have to love a multi purpose bait.
Ham Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Tackle Warehouse 20% off sale. Gonna try out the Leechz, Grubz, Bat Wings, and Turbo Crawz. I will likely be cutting a lot of them to a size or shape that pleases me. I know that glue is always required, but I'm starting to consider it superior plastic. Spring should be interesting. dtrs5kprs Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 The new grub is nice. Basically same deal as a 4" GYCB or Chompers. If they will eat it the elaztech should put an end to K's tearing off tails.

The turbo craw is very good. Works on football jigs or the swing heads. More or less a speed craw. The punch craw is also a good one for little jigs, or for cutting down a bit.
