Ive got quite a bit of tackle laying around i'd like to give to someone loves to fish but might not be able to afford to buy alot of tackle preferably a young person whos just getting into the sport. i remember a topic awhile back where one the guides took a young man out whos father had passed away. id love to help him or someone out just like him. Ive got a couple lews baitcasting combos and a spinning combo or two along with a ton of plastics spinnerbaits and a few cranks. if you guys no of anyone plz get with me i'll see what i can do to help them.

thats an awesome thing to do,...find a good kid or young adult just getting into the sport....I'll keep an eye out. I know some of the schools are having high school teams, might try those

That is what this time of the year is about BUT, in my opinion that is what good sportsman do. We have to keep showing the young what it's like to be outside and enjoying nature. I live in the city but I don't stay inside unless it's lousy weather conditions. I would rather be outside fishing, hunting or anything else. I don't need the tackle nor do I know anyone who needs it. Someone is going to be a happy person. Jim, you are a good man.

as most you know i lost mom on the 29th of nov. this is a tribute to her. i want to help someone enjoy the sport as much as i do. im sure both my parents are looking down on me smiling. they were both very proud of my fishing accomplishments over the years.

This is awesome, you will make some young, less fortunate kid very happy! I'm not asking for the tackle, as I have built up enough over the past several years but this sport needs more people like you! This is coming from a 29 year old who grew up with no one to really teach me much of anything. My parents always worked and neither of them are much of an "outdoorsmen". I have finally been able to purchase my first boat this past year and am hoping to join a club soon to meet a few people that will be willing to teach me a thing or two, most of what I have learned has been from reading or watching videos or just getting out and fishing! I don't have any friends that enjoy fishing like i do, so I am usually by myself. Sorry to make this post about me but just wanted to say that people like me really look up to people like you! Thank you!
