Moswimb8slinger Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 If I dont have a kayak bass tournament that weekend, count a buddy and I in.
Donna G Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Saturday, March 21, 2015, Big M, no A rig, free, socializing afterward. What is not to like about this. If I am healthy and if the roads are clear, I am in. I will look stupid in the only tin boat with a tiller steer, but that is only my pride talking. If QB brings a grill, I will too. Wings anyone? Who cares what boat you're in? Bring it. Oh, and the grill, too. Fish don't know what you're in. Quillback Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 Dang, I did not know anyone else ran tourneys out of Big M. We could move it up to March 14. Let me know what you all think of the 14th.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 18, 2014 Root Admin Posted December 18, 2014 Again- I'm not a bass guy but are you going to run into conflicts on any weekend you pick? Might look at the regatta's already issued in March.
Quillback Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 I did just check the Regatta list (USA Bassin isn't on the Regatta list) - nothing going out of Big M on the 14th, at least as showing on the list. Just don't think Big M is big enough to handle a couple of tourneys on the same day. We could go out of Eagle Rock on the 21st, but I'm going to see what the response is for the 14th.
Bill Babler Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Either place would be great. March 14th. sounds good. Is this a team deal you are thinking about? Eagle Rock has lots of grills and a lot more parking down at the old ramp by the swim beach. Much more private. That might get several other teams in the deal as far as changing the date. I would like to fish if I'm not guiding. If I am I'll be there for the weigh-in and to help in any way that I can. I might be able to talk Phil into being my buddy if it is, a buddy deal. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
5bites Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I also think Eagle Rock would be a good idea. The date doesn't matter. The 14th is my birthday so that may be a hindrance because of my family doing something. On the other hand I could suggest we go stay at the lake for that weekend for my birthday. Anyway it sounds like a neat deal to me.
Quillback Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 I'm fine with Eagle Rock on the 14th, I'll hold off on sending in the paperwork for a bit too see what others think, but we'll focus on Eagle Rock on the 14th. As far as teams, you can certainly fish with a friend in your boat - but whoever the individual is who catches the big bass gets the trophy.
tapout Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I need a date so I can ask off at work. If I get off at work I'll be there. I'd like to thank my FUTURE sponsers: Falcon Rods, Jewel Bait Co, and Seagar
Champ188 Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 We like the 14th. Give us a good chance to practice for the USA Bassin derby. Just FYI, USA Bassin formerly held their events out of Campbell Point but this year is moving them to Big M. I suspect the poor condition of the ramp at Campbell Point had something to do with that.
