Champ188
I've always been one to enjoy splashing around in mud puddles, Dave. Must be my inner child.
rps
That's right guys. Upstream of the KC bridge is just trash water. Carp, gar, and maybe a few crappie. That's what will make a tournament up here difficult for you.

Quillback
To clarify, smallmouth and spots (Kentuckies) are eligible, right? Donna's been known to catch a pig smallmouth or two in her time. You bet - biggest black bass, to include Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted bass and Meanmouth. Probably kind of claustrophobic with the bank so close on each side.

Probably kind of claustrophobic with the bank so close on each side. It's rather nice that you can fish the inside bend and the outside bend without starting the big motor. Many of you have not fished up here. We actaully have more LM than spots. What we do not have as many of are the brown fish. I may joke about the carp water, but I assure you that within 6 river miles each direction from Eagle Rock there are a multitude of big fish (bass and walleye) locations. Now watch. Because I have said that, the weather will plan so that the big fish is the only fish that measures 15 inches.
denjac
I will have to buy a permit from bill babler to fish it. Champ188 1 Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. We might have to consider reinstating your river status, seeing as how you haven't made any derogatory comments about that area of the lake in quite some time. And besides, you're an OK guy most of the time.
