Fishrman Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Going out tomorrow for my birthday any suggestions except stay home.
Members rivermont Posted December 31, 2014 Members Posted December 31, 2014 Fished the Kings Monday and Tuesday. Caught over 15 Monday and 7 yesterday. Caught 4 or 5 keepers. Didn't fish but 3 hours each day. Caught them on a spoon, bluff points, anywhere from 10 to 35 ft. Had a lot of fun. Headed back out this afternoon.
fishingaddiction Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 According to the weather reports it's going to be cold (high 35 degrees), cloudy, and wind 10 to 15 out of the SW. May a good day to go catch em! Happy Birthday Fishrman Happy New Year Fred Smalley 1 Born to Fish. Forced to Work.

Champ188 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 We're going, too, Fishrman (Thursday). Should be a good jerk bait bite. Of course, we'll probably have to vie for position with all of the non-posting trolls I see lurking at the bottom of this post, waiting for us to pass along some free info so they don't have to go look for fish themselves.

Yes, please let us know color, model and brand of whatever jerk baits work for you tomorrow. Too much of a pain to figure that stuff out, not to mention the wasted fishing time fishing a lousy color. It would be awesome if you could just text me photos to my mobile, that way I can see what is working without having to leave my recliner.
Champ188 Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 You know, I'm good with sharing a fair amount of details but I get a little irked when you can look down at the bottom of these threads and see the same trolls all the time who never contribute anything. Now it's one thing for the guys in KC, STL and other far-off places to hang out and keep up with what's going on. But some of these guys live around here and fish plenty often to let us in on what they're finding and catching out there. You don't have to tell everything. I sure as heck don't. But you could contribute something. It's kind of like those penny dishes at the convenience store cash register. Give a little, take a little. bluebasser86 and fishingaddiction 2
Roger Craig Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I am one of those trolls I guess, but I just get to set on the bank and watch you guys fish lol. Still nice to see what you guys are doing and live vicariously through ya, sorry to be a 'troll'.

You are a talkative bunch and I expect that draws trolls; I like to see what's "on" at any of our highland reservoirs as what works hither can be applied yon. For example, I fished lower LOZ in the wind last Friday afternoon and whacked the LM and whites with a Pointer 100 in blueback herring. The whites were on the main lake wind blown rocks out to 13 ft and the LM were under the wind blown shad in the backs of the S facing creeks where they flattened to about the same depth. 46 degrees. Same deal was likely happening your way-unfortunately, I haven't been on the Rock since I was a sprout... Mike
