aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Went down and froze a couple days. Started out trolling flicker Shads and Flicker Minnows in a variety of colors. 1st five minutes I lost a very Large walleye at the boat he bumped my net and set himself free. Ended up catching 4 walleye with only one being 18 inches a couple others were close. Also caught 5 nice crappie all in the 13-14 inch range. went the next day and we ended up with 13 giant crappie 12-15 inchers, the one im holding was 15 1/4. A couple nice whites and a 21 1/2inch walleye. Fish were scattered all over,we just trolled anywhere from 20-30 feet and we would end up hitting schools here and there, we had 3 crappie on at once at one point. Also the pic of the screen were a whole bunch of pesky little whites caught a lot around 6 inches Moswimb8slinger 1

aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 im going outa town for work so ill be happy to give my spot up to yall. it will be different by the time i get back. dump in at beaver creek, dont worry about starting the big motor...start at the first Marina bouy and troll up stream, all these fish were caught in a 500 yard stretch, most my colors were in the pics but honestly it was random. Best color was prob Racy Shad for Crappie
duckydoty Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I saw you out there on Tuesday. I was in the tracker sport jet. We picked up one crappie off that flat but were on our way up to check out another flat further up. We ended up keeping one walleye, 2 big whites and 2 big crappie. Boated 4 or 5 smaller whites and one big carp. Man o man we were excited realing that thing in hopes of a giant walleye. Number 7 flicker shad produced all our fish. Purple fire tiger and Rico flavored. Tried bottom bouncing 3-4 inch creek chubs for 2 hours with only one bite on a swing and a miss. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 I'll have to say hi next time. I thought that might have been you, I've heard you mention the sport jet and you def don't see a lot of those around. Quick question for ya where do you buy your flicker shads. I have some Rico's and Tennessee shad and perch but I had to order through cabelas. Bass pro in springfield doesn't have those. I pulled around the #7 flicker minnow in Pink Lemonade and caught a lot of te crappie and a few walleye. Even caught a few crappie in a #9 minnow. That was a big meal for the crappie
