jolicious Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Do y'all think there are advantages with the crawlers over warts other than depth? I can get my warts down to 15' or so and still bump bottom, so that is why I am asking. I throw warts on 10lb fluoro and put a small drop shot weight on the front split ring.

On another note, I overnighted a couple of the Rock Crawlers to a friend in Oklahoma. He's fishing a derby today and texted me just before 10 a.m. to say that he and his partner had 17 pounds on the Crawler. Water temp over there is 46.

Champ188 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I haven't noticed an issue. Cool trick. May play around with that some. Ron Shuffield of BASS tournament fame used to weight Shad Raps somehow and kicked our butts on them in winter derbies down in central Arkansas.
