Old plug Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 My fishin' buddy's son recently started a 2+ year sentence from train tagging charges brought by the Boston Transit Athority. Buddy took a 2nd mortgage on his modest shack to pay a lawyer $30K... for nothing. Kid had just bought a defunct bait shop/boat service building on the Detroit River for pennies on the dollar and was working on getting it going again. That's gone. He's already been assulted in the yard twice because "you're a liar. Nobody goes down for painting trains". Real waste of a bright, talented kid.The courts and the law do awful lot of that. Sometimes prosecutors and defenders are all on rhe same page money wise if you get my drift.

That's what makes it the most extreme form of art IMO. It's not something you can do at home while listening to your favorite tunes, it has to be planned, prepared for, then quickly executed on the sly with the only payoff being personal satisfaction. That is just really cool to me. If Agnew had any balls at all.... ness 1
Al Agnew Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Nah, I don't work well under pressure.
fishinwrench Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 My luck, I'd be down to the final touches and the nozzle would clog. #@&%-+$#;:$# !!!!

Norm M Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 5th gen railroader . any of you guys remember the hobo art work done with chalk in a single unbroken line ? That stuff was impressive . . what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends
ciRe Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I've seen several friends remove tattoos. What they do is act stupid on the highway doing wheelies and crash. All the sudden they ripped off their skin with road rash and the tattoo is gone.

joeD Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 No. Graffiti defaces property that is not theirs to display their talent. How would you like graffiti on the side of your house? Done without your permission? I daresay you would be less forgiving, regardless of the image, It's doorbell ditching with aerosol spray cans.
Members dtbrake Posted January 29, 2015 Members Posted January 29, 2015 Hong Kong 1958. This is what they look likt on 70-80 yr olds. The writting is USS ESSEX 1958. This was done with a bamboo needle. Thats awesome it reminds me of the tattoos my grandfather had from his navy days. Its what inspired me to get my first and one day i hope to get one to match his.
