I just reviewed some footage tonight from some filming I did yesterday, at one point I had 11 hookups on 18 casts, I just had to count to see. I had a lot better hookup when I did a light twitch as it drifted. After watching that , I actually underestimated how good I did with it. My partner wasn't using one at first, but he quickly got in my Ned stash....lol..

Were you drift fishing it behind the boat? That works well, at times. I usually post up for an hour on my best spots.

No basically just throwing it towards the bank and letting it swing a few times when anchored, other times I had the boat on drift with trolling moter and drifting boat with the bait, either way worked. Basically fished it similar to how I would a senko, except slower and more methodical..

Slower the better, let the current & gravel do all the work. It's amazing how many species fish will bite it. I would drive over there if I had time. Those waters are on my bucket list. The Spring, strawberry, current river, eleven point,

Dave,

Can you rig up a trolling motor to push water in your pool to simulate current? That would be awesome

I'm hell bent I'm going to try it for trout this summer on the bluff across from Lilleys. I would think some big browns would eat it up. I know Ned catches rainbow's on in Kansas in the winter. Its not legal above fall creek but might be good down stream for brownies.

Gonna post this here as well, here is a short video from a recent trip, my second time to try a Ned on a river.
