Wrench - I'm really starting to like the wobble head and it pairs real nice with Mitch's craw... I plan to give both a real nice workout on LOZ this spring.

moguy1973 - There's some better pics of Mitch's craw in this thread.... He designed, developed, and pours them himself. They are legit! He also pours the wobble heads himself.

Saw where they are gonna post the presentation on youtube from the other night, look forward to that!

Three things: One) I absolutely love fishing with Paul and Mitch. We all three have young children at home and are all first time dads.when we get in the boat together we make some of the most offensive and dirty jokes you will ever hear but, it works we laugh a lot. Two) Mitch's craw is quite honestly blowing my mind...I have never seen a soft plastic bait work that well in water that cold. Mitch and Paul put on a clinic for a 300 yard stretch they just tore the smallies up on that thing on the wobble head. THEY WERE pitching that craw in the most obvious places and watching those two drive home the hook on like 14 fish in about 45 minutes was cool stuff for me...still boggles my mind...and Three) the more I look at pictures of myself in cold weather, the more it seems like I'm dressing like a menopausal woman.

Some darn fine fish, thanks for the report.

Awesome trip! I think I'd probably fall out of the boat if I caught a smallie that big.

That was a heck of a fine day, made all the more so by doing that in winter. Great job, all three of you.

Ha ha, that's a good one, but the smile on the face with that Dandy says it all!

I like this pic of Mitch here, looks like he's a Zen Master or something of Winter Bassin....lol

Great day, guys. Mitch knows his stuff, and his craws are really impressive. As you say, though, the biggest key is knowing the river and knowing where the fish are. Mitch and I have shown each other various winter spots; he has his favorite stretches and I have mine, and they are mostly different stretches. Mitch tends to go with the spots he knows to be good, while I often try different spots hoping to add to my inventory of fish-producing holes (and once in a while that works, but more often it doesn't).

I'm hoping to get out tomorrow...looks like a good weather forecast.
