We are back home from picking up the new boat and trying it out/fishing on TR. Thought I would throw up a couple pictures of the boat. We will be at TR again the last 2 weeks of April so if any of you see this boat stop and say hi!
Yeah I know we have talons on it but up here they actually do come in very handy. If we lived down there we would not have put them on the boat. LOL
Charger 496 with a Merc 250 ProXS. It was cloudy so the pictures don't show off all the sparkle it has when the sun is shining on it. Here it is anyway..........

Man that thing is nice!! Love the colors.

Forgive me but I have not heard much about these. What does it run? 72-74? Sweet looking rig. I really like how the hull is designed. Looks like it could cut wakes well.

Thanks.

I had it up to 71 but there is definitely more in it. After playing with the setup I am guessing it should run around 75 loaded up pretty heavy.

The Chargers are by far the best rough water boat I have ever been in. That is the reason we went with one as the wind is always blowing up here. If you ever want a ride when I am down that way just let me know so you can check them out for yourself.

Quick question....

What is composite about it? their website has some nice pictures but doesn't really showcase their storage and construction of their boats but notes a composite construction. It is a fiberglass boat correct?

We did not do very good but with that said we didn't really fish that much. I posted a report of the first day in the other thread. The second day we caught one spot and only fished for about an hour or so and the wife got cold so we quit.

Can't wait until we are back down for the last 2 weeks of April.

Yes it is fiberglass. 100% fiberglass(composite); there is no wood in the hull at all. Life time warranty on the hull!

They do need to update their site for sure.

There is a ton of storage in this boat. If you want I can get some pictures the next time I un-tarp it and PM them to you.

Just saw some photos on their Facebook page. Just cannot see why they are not more mainstream and as popular as other brands.

These are some slick looking rigs. Very nice looking. I'm very impressed. And the price point is highly competitive. Yet I've not seen them at a boat show or anything. Really odd.

Super nice rig man. Bet you're very proud. I would be.

Very nice boat Hunter. With a boat that nice looking the fish should just want to jump in for a ride!

Gorgeous boat, Hunter. I know you're proud of her. J-Doc, we just don't have any Charger dealers in NWA. Then again, we don't really have any dealers at all to speak of. I had to go to Warsaw, MO, to get a decent deal on my Ranger.
