Thanks. I'm new to jig pouring. A friend of mine uses guitar string. Do you think that would work? I have a mushroom head mold but will have to modify it to take a guard.

Seems like that would be pricey. Guess it would depend on which string too.

Goto LurePartsonline.com, they will have the multi-strand and single strand weed guards. I prefer the multi-strand myself.

The cable guards from LPO are pretty stiff for a little head. They are nice in a swimbait head.

Really have to cut your own for the little heads, and play around with the diameter and material until you get it as you like it.

I can't order anymore jig heads or my wife might accuse me of hoarding them. Lol

if Dave quits making them, they will become collectors items and fetch $50 each on Ebay.

Dave will eventually sell off his operation to Rapala, starting a whole new eBay craze --- pre-Rapala Varmint heads.

Actually Gen 2, or Version 2-whatever the techies call it, is coming. No real changes, just cleaner, and not made in my basement.

The ones he sent me look great!! Got 50 cant wait to use em thanks dave!

You are most welcome. Glad you like them.

Good looking heads! Any guitar player would give you some old guitar strings. Strings lose there tone, and need to be replaced often. High quality gauged stainless wire...

The new green pumpkin will be a little different than my home blended variety. Pic is below. It actually matches the Zman GP color a little better than my ugly brown GP.

Just another note or two...I am doing everything I can to keep up with my inbox and emails. If I have not replied, please feel free to contact me again. For those using PayPal, please use the "goods" option, not the "gift" or "money to a friend" option. It is a business, I do have business tags, and collect and pay the various state and federal taxes. The folks at PayPal need to feed their kids too.
