Pretty nice slick fish. Just me or does that seem to be happening more often?

It's not just you. I have seen several reports it seems in the last couple of years of people catching trout. Even seen some caught in the middle of summer on drop shot in the dam area.

Donna caught one last fall on a drop shot at Shell Knob.

Might have to start throwing more big California style trout swimbaits looks like. That is what makes fishing so great, never truly know what you are going to have on the end of your line.

I caught this one at the Kimberling City Bridge recently

I agree Dave; definitely seem to be hearing of it more and more!

I didn't know there were trout in Table Rock.

And I don't think they're necessarily 'suppose'tah' be in there..........but they certainly are. :-)

Wow! Had no idea they were in TR. Down from Beaver tailwaters? That can't do anything but help the bass fishing I would think.

Exactly right, Jim. They meander down from both the Beaver tailwaters and Roaring River.
