You and I travel in different circles, RM. :)

Surprised ?

No not really. You find them more out in the smaller areas trying to survive. Heck I can take you to several that will do the same thing I'm Springfield. But you said "decent" body shops. I'd rather have a crashed vehicle fixed correctly.

Why would you ever need to 'farm raise' deer in missouri? My wife and I are sitting here looking at half a dozen standing in our front yard. It's just crazy..............

Because if they can grow the bucks large and sell them to operation the price is insane

I see what you mean. I wonder what kind of 'feed' those deer are getting? Just a deer watcher so I am a bit uninformed on this subject.

Rondo, I'm told all the deer pictured on the website Fin and Feather posted fall under the "Price Upon Request" listing and that they go for $50,000 and up. These are genetically selected and chemically altered deer, fed enough by man to be considered semi-domesticated. Shooters can literally pick the rack they want to hang on their walls to brag about what good hunters they are based upon the price they're willing to pay.

Regardless what you think of that, our major concern is the spread of CWD to the wild herd. There's no doubt the altered freaks in these farms introduced CWD to MO, and an educated theory is that the disease was caused in the first place by what they were fed. It's all about as far from natural as you can get.

Define "correctly". How many incorrect ways are there to replace a bedside/fender/grill ?

Are you saying that just because a body shop "works with you" that they are incapable of doing good work ? Puleeze!

To me High Fence operations should all be BANNED from the face of the earth and there should NEVER be a record of genetically altered Freaks. I am actually ashamed of SCI for allowing such creatures in to a "record book" Those operations can and imo do create and spread disease to natural heard. At very least they should be USDA and AZA and State DNR inspected twice a year full blood work done. After all they are nothing but a slaughter house IMO.

Those high fence people are largely behind the current "open season on MDC" at the legislature. Oh and I agree in principle but also am a believer in someone being able to do what they want with their own land, as long as they obey the regulations. Problem with high fence operations is the lack of appropriate regulations.

Even the regs they do have they don't follow. We discussed that here last year here. Whats her name from the St. Louis paper was here and involved in the discussion too.

Hope she come back.
