jay bird Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 First off want to say a big thanks to all the guys like quill back and Bo who have been putting some great information on here for everyone. Fished from 1030 to 400 pm had over 20 bass with 8 measured keepers and one 17 1/2 inch walleye. All on Ned rig on chunk rock with fish hitting at about 20 feet boat in 30 plus. Just a couple fish sorry the nice three pounder picture kind of gave away my spot. . Smalliebigs and Quillback 2
motoman Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Nice pix and good info jay! Just out of curiosity (if you don't mind saying) what part of the lake were you fishing? - Certainly don't feel like you have to give any details; I'm just curious to compare with other reports; if others are getting a similar bite lakewide.
Quillback Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Good deal Jay Bird, glad to see you got into them, gives me hope for the next time I get out there.
Smalliebigs Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I agree Jay Bird...the table rock regulars who post reports are awesome. They make the table rock thread the best on this forum in my opinion. If you pay attention to what they are saying it's a whole lot of valuable info...I commend them for it
jay bird Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 I totally agree the regulars on here are great, but I think it would just get better if you happen to have a great day you would post on it. There are days (far and between) that I figure something out. I think it would be outstanding if one of my post helped some of the regulars get on fish.
Champ188 Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Hey jay bird, thanks much for the report and it doesn't have to be a record-setting day for your reports to help us regulars --- or anyone else who is capable of taking your info, processing it and turning it into success for themselves. You provided everything I'd like to know except for two things ... water temp and sky/wind conditions. I do not want to know specific areas, first because I don't want to intrude on your places and second because my greatest joys in fishing are finding fish and watching my wife catch them. I do enjoy catching fish still, but after 40-plus years of fishing, it's a lot more about the hunt than the catching for me. Thanks again for a good report and please keep sharing.
fishingaddiction Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Good days fishing jay. Thanks for the post and pics. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
