MOPanfisher Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 With a cast iron skillet an charcoal its likely to be good. I am a chocolate weenie, I do like the occasional Hershey milk chocolate but dark chocolate always tastes bitter to me. That said I have a wife and a grown daughtwr, the is way more dark chocolate in my house than milk. If women get grouchy throw dark chocolate at them, if they charge play dead, it's the only viable defense. rps, bs1827 and BilletHead 3
ness Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 I had dinner at a fondue restaurant the other night. Dessert was dark chocolate fondue with pound cake, fruit, other stuff to dip in. Man, that was outstanding even though I'm usually partial to milk chocolate. Store has had beef on sale the last few days. Picked up a really nice looking ribeye and a tater for baking. Watched Martha Stewart do a baked potato, and when it came out she slammed it on the counter to break it open. Mine was more blow up, and less break open. Anyhoo, after I scraped it all onto the plate and got it all mixed in with the juice from the medium-rare ribeye, all was good. BilletHead 1 John

ness Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 I gotta tell you -- I've always had a soft spot for the Cubbies, plus my sister lives out there and her whole family are Cubs fans. I was out to dinner with my baby girl with a big ol' TV right in front of me. Nice to see them win it. Best sign I saw was 'Party like it's 1908' I had a contractor out at my house yesterday giving me a bid on some work. I had the Royals on the TV while she did her thing. She finished up, and started to gather her things to leave. I just told her to have a seat and watch the end of the game with me. She was a little surprised, and felt like she needed to get on with things. I told her it would be inhumane to send her out the door, so she plopped down on my couch and watched that great finish with me. Hopefully she remembers my kindness and generosity when she puts the numbers together I'd love a Cubs/Royals series! bs1827 1 John

rps Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Well, it ain't cooking, but you have ingredients to mix ... Great sub topic! No wrong answers! My favorite: 2 shots Tangueray. 1 pony dry vermouth. 1 pony olive juice. 4 olives with pimento or jalapeno plus ice and shaken well.
