It's not, it's still in the case in the Chinese market. I have eaten beef and pork tripe, it's actually not too bad, but they add so many hot peppers in the dish you really don't know what you're eating.

        We tried something we have not tried before. Poached wild turkey, poached as in how it was cooked and not how it was shot :). The Mrs. invited out the doctor she works with to eat with us. Did not take any pictures but here is where I got the recipe.  http://honest-food.net/2012/11/19/wild-turkey-breast-recipe-poached/ 

   I have never had wild turkey turn out this tender. Never made gravy this way either. This may be the way our thanksgiving dinner will be now cooked,

That sounds really good.

I poach chicken breasts occasionally. The recipe I have uses onion, carrot, parsnip and chicken broth. Cook the veggies for about 10 to 15 minutes, add the breasts, bring to a boil then cover and turn off the heat. They're done in about 10 to 15 minutes -- check the temp. Makes a really nice, flavorful, tender breast. We're all so afraid of chicken that I think we overcook it most of the time and end up with something tougher than it should be.

Did ribs for the family yesterday, then started a brisket on the grill. Brought it in to cook today in the Crock Pot (r).

I feel so ashamed. 

I did meatloaf and messed it up. 

Yeah! Meatloaf! 

I was busy with some other projects and when mixing the meat and spices, I neglected to add any ketchup or bbq sauce or any moistener. 

Though it tasted fine, you couldn't slice it with an ax!

     Chief it takes a big man to admit meatloaf defeat! I commend you :) All this talk of food this morning I had to leave the ladder stand to come home to make a turkey sandwich. Was not seeing much anyway.

Meatloaf. Few other foods bring back such rich childhood memories with such gratitude and appreciation. So simplistic yet it has a deep, profound, distinct, traditional flavor.

I found it more funny than anything.

We have seen such great, great food on this thread and I screw up a meatloaf!!!
