Got lucky and found a little gourmet snack at the store tonight.

I like those things too, as long as I can have beer and some crackers with.

And stay in a deer cabin by yourself.

I don't know what's cooking yet but I do know it's going to be something on the new Blackstone flat top that lovey ordered me for my birthday.  😎

You are a lucky man. Season it thoroughly before you cook. After it seasons, I love the results.

Of course.  It's been a long long very long time but once upon a time in an earlier century I cooked at the White Grill in Nevada.  Talk about a seasoned grill.  Mine will get there in a while too.

Congrats on the Blackstone.

Had to lookup White Grill. It looks very much like the Town Topics here in KC. Great burgers with grilled onions. A late-night staple for hungry folks staggering out of Westport or the Crossroads.

Working up a new recipe creation. If it works it will become a blog post. One Pot Seven Spice Chicken and Rice with Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Mushrooms. We will see.

BTW, last night's Enchilada Casserole. Not real pretty, but very tasty.

Made up bread crunb mix 50:50 mix panko and regular bread crumb. Added oregano, basil, and garlic powder. I also added some JO'S seafood seasoning into my flour. Standard flour, egg wash, and then bread crumbs. So fried fish, tautog and bergall from previous NJ trip and the red hake (ling) from this Sat. Also twice fried sweet potato fries. Homemade tartar sauce.

Sue made an expresso mud pie topped with fresh whipped cream.
