WeekendWarrior Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Wonder why just 9 thru 1, to protect anglers starting and finishing holes maybe or just relocating personnel to and from weigh-in? I saw that T.Omori was watching video switching to a red crankbait on bridge like Howell
Guest Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 He's a zman pro, I wonder if the Ned played a role?
Quillback Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 From what I saw, his main bait was a fish head spin tipped with a Zoom Super Fluke JR. He did throw some other stuff, but every day he got an early limit fishing that fish head slow and deep.

Bill Babler Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Could you even pick a better Champion? what a super guy on his own pond. Of course I was rooting for Mike, but Casey was right in there. Said every fish he weighed was on the homemade spin head. Enough Said. Probably cost him a hundred grand to be truthful, but that is how he shot this deal. Got to respect that. Boys, he pretty much fished Table Rock the last 3 days. Very, very close to the same deal. Wonderful Classic Donna G and merc1997 Bo 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Seth Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I guess no bait manufacturers will get the big sales increase from somebody winning with a certain lure. Technically a fluke was part of the winning bait, but who doesn't already know what a fluke is?
Donna G Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 According to Ashley's comments after winning the Classic, he could not get bit on his brush piles and is why he went to the spinhead his dad made tipped with the Super Fluke Jr. catching 20 lbs today slowing crawling it across the bottom. Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915

Yes Donna, said he put a limit in the boat early the first two days on the spinhead and then went looking for big ones on piles with the jig. NADA. Decided to stay on and fish the Head all day today, and live and die with what was working for him. We saw the result. Loved the commentary by Ish Monroe. Guess that was why he got to stay in and eat cheeseburgers all day today. Donna G 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
