You don’t need a perfect picture, it’s the fish that matters, it’s the river that matters and it’s the regulations that allow fish to grow in the river that matter. That is a fine fish, congratulations.

The hearing was rescheduled for this coming Thursday. So I should be around then. We will see.

If that eye is a little orange/redish and the lateral black line almost diamondular. then wouldn't that be a kentucky? Im no expert just yet so feel free to correct me.

I really think it is just a clear cold water LMB. The glare and haste of the camera operator (me) lead to odd effects all day long. The eyes on that fish didn't catch my attention when I was unhooking and releasing it at all

My opinion would be that a Kentucky in that cold clear water would have a rather vivid coloration and pattern.

Upon farther investigation, and really for the sake of knowing, this is a nice article on the subject of largemouth vs Kentucky. Im like most of the world, I don't mind catching either one.
