I thought you lost lifetime privileges when you no longer were a MO resident. Am I wrong in that?

A lifetime permit is valid for the rest of your life, even if you later move to another state. However, this permit does not include permanent residency. If you move out of state the privileges covered by this permit will still be valid, but you’ll have to buy any other permits as a nonresident.

I think you should have to pass a test....or something.

A "license" just for handing over some cash is actually kinda lame. But whatever.

The past purchasers of lifetime permits would have gotten screwed if MDC had gotten their funding cuts like everyone was trippin' about, wouldn't they?

When you buy a lifetime license you get the trout permit with it for lifetime also, you don't need a MO. Fishing License at the age of 65 or older, but you still need thr trout permit. Laker67 made a post about this same subject on Feb. 28 which was the last day are 2014 license expire
