duckydoty Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Had two pretty good days of chasing walleye out of Kdock. Monday we had to shovel snow and ice off the ramp in order to launch. Fishing was slow to start but ended pretty good. It was windy and pretty cold out there. Water temps were 38-39 degrees and pretty clear. My brother and I ended up boating 9 walleye with 4 keepers, 11 bass, 5 crappie and one white on Monday. Tuesday we thought it was going to be windy and wet all day, but to our suprise, it was very nice and not windy at all. Yesteday was our best day yet out there. We boated 10 walleye with 5 of them being keepers. 4 of them were in the 5 pound range. We also caught 6 keeper bass and 4 shorts along with one keeper crappie. Water temps did not get above 39 degrees again. The bite was a little easier to feel on Tuesday with no wind. Buster''s method of fishing stick baits/jerk baits realy slow has definately improved our walleye catch rate. duckydoty Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Yes it is. It's been a fun learning process going for just hoping for a chance at one to starting to feel confident in boating at least one.
