Springfield Missouri food?

If you wanted a decent Mexican place there is one there in old town Hollister called Little Hacienda across the street from the Landing. Been there a handful of times and it's as good of Mexican as you are going to find in the haunts of the foothills of Branson/Hollister/Ozark areas. The chimichanga's are great. Parking with a boat would be difficult. Best would be park it somewhere on the landing and walk over. Would only be a couple of block walk.

I think Bill was talking about W.F. Codys.

The Roost at Kansas & Sunshine has a good burger and beer and sports. You can find a spot for a boat there in the back.

And yes they still have the taco special.

Bairs Food is great, drink prices are awesome. Service can be spotty, but hell for a $5.50 pitcher I don't expect it to be great.

Grad School down town is good, so is just about every other food place down there. If you want something quick ish Mo' Beef is really good as well. If it's late it's hard to beat Pappos Pizza or Whistlers Sliders.

FD's = Fish Daddy's. Rumor has it, some guy broke off from Cheddars and started FD's. I am unsure if this fact or not, but I can see the relation. The place is super clean, very efficient, and fantastic food quality. Their Chicken and Shrimp plate is phenomenal! They have fish, steak, shrimp, chicken, burgers, salads, pastas, etc. A little bit of everything, but their chicken and fish stand out as clear winners on the menu.

Also, Dennys was just opened a couple months ago on S. Campbell, down the road from Academy. Parking would be tight with a boat, but if you like breakfast for lunch/dinner...its hard to beat:-)

This is correct. Theres more to the story. The owner of FD's is still attached to Cheddars, In a way. But you didnt hear that from me.

TinBoats BassClub.  An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

If you're wanting a bar with great burgers you should check out Ebbets Field or Bairs. Two of my favorite restaurants in town!

I worked at Ebbet's in college!

The landing is in Branson and I wouldn't plan on parking a trailer there.

There is a good Mxican place in Hollister across from Country Mart and there is plenty of parling in the CM lot or Lowe's.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Mexican = Cilito Lindo on Campbell

Specifically the Mis Favarito Nachos

BBQ = St. Georges at National & Battlefield

Specifically the Spicy Chicken Sandwich but all is good.

Chinese = Canton Inn

Small parking lot though.

Someone already said Coyotes for wings, and they're right.

Arris's Pizza on Republic Road

Specifically the Greek Gyro.

Sushi = Mijuri lunch special $10 with drink

Special occasions we'll go to Zios or Di Giacintos.

Edit: And from you recommendations here we tried FD's tonight. It was great. Good portions / price. No waiting to seat. Will go back.
