Members redlegrgr10 Posted March 9, 2015 Members Posted March 9, 2015 Saturday my 14 year old son and I put in at Aunts Creek around 0700. Water temp start around 41.5 and climbed to 44. Caught 4-5 on a JB around cedars early in the morning, 3 keepers. We fished outside edge of trees in 25-50 fow with a spoon and picked up another 7-8 fish with 5 of them being keepers. My youngin' hung in there despite being fishless until the last 30 minutes. We were off the lake by 1230. Monday was much better for my son. He caught two early on a JB around cedars, one keeper. We started fishing deep with Dixie Jet Spoons since the JB bite was slow and things picked up. Ended up with 15-16 total with about 2/3 keepers. Caught a variety of with mostly LM and spots, 2 SM and 2 meanmouths. This one was 4-11. Water temp was the same as Sat. Great time with my youngest. Daryk Campbell Sr, Muddy Water and Quillback 3
